A bugle screw is a form of a self-drilling screw that's specifically designed for drywall applications. Bugle head screws feature a countersunk head with a flat top and a concave under-head bearing surface.
Designed for fastening plasterboard, gyprock and drywall sheeting to timber, and light gauge steel, and heavily used in conjunction with wall plugs to masonry fastening.
Ideal for fixing heavy timber to steel substructures, such as hardwood decking onto steel joists.
